Stacey’s Curtain Call Act#23

DSCF7366

I haven’t played Stacey’s Color Challenge for a while, so I thought I would take a few minutes today to play!  These are such elegant colors, and the designers’ samples are so nice!  I had seen some punched tulips (I believe on LeeAnn Greff’s blog) so I thought I would try them here to make another Easter card for my stash.  I also used Taylor’s sketch.  Here are the details:

and here is my card:

Dots & sentiment are from PTI; the tulip is sort of 3D; you can see it here:

it is made from the wing of the large bird punch that is in the current SU mini catalog---how versatile & cool is that!  Thanks for visiting again today!

Oh now I have to have that punch! That tulip is beautiful. I love it! How do you come up with all of this? What ink did you use on the edges? I am going to a SU class this week. Now I have something else to get. I offered to help her get ready and cut stuff so I could see what has to be done but she said she was already ready. Boy I wish I knew if I could make a go of it in SU. I would want you to be my upline. You are so dedicated and you are sooooooo talented.

Oh my word, LeAnne!! GASP!! I'm so in love with this design! I'd never think that accentuating the bottom and leaving the upper part clean would make up for such beauty!
