The Challenge 76 Basket of Wishes

Hi everyone! Happy Labor Day to those in the States! I had a quiet Sunday and did a little stamping and watercoloring with SU's new Basket of Wishes and the sketch from Lesley's The Challenge:

This card features a side fold, only because I already had a piece of Crumb Cake folded this way and I was too lazy to cut another one!  I stamped my image in Stazon ink on Shimmery White cardstock and used inks and an aquapainter to color it in:

I just love fall images, don't you?  And these are very easy to line up as they are photopolymer!  I used a pretty piece of Moroccan DSP for my horizontal piece and stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze!  Easy peasy!  I stamped the pumpkins on the back of the Crumb Cake envelope too, just for a little extra pizzazz!  Thanks for popping in today!

We were finally able to have a little get-together for Cassidy and the cousins and neighbor children.  After slip-n-sliding, swimming in the kiddie pool, riding bikes and cavorting on the swings, someone got the great idea of chasing butterflies with a net, which then turned into chasing each other!  I love their imaginations!

Needless to say, they ALL slept very well that night!  Enjoy your day!

The Challenge #71-- 80th Birthday

Just a quick post this Tuesday, using The Challenge's sketch:

I haven't played along with any of Lesley's challenges for a while, I thought it was about time!  My uncle Kenny is turning 80 years old next week; he is the last sibling on my mom's side, so he's kind of special to us!  So I used Lesley's sketch for his card.  It's very similar to the Paper Players sketch from a couple weeks ago and I used Guy Greetings for it as well:

I used some retired DSP from SU and stamped the image in Basic Gray and the words in Island Indigo.  This set is so awesome because it has "UNCLE" in it!  Woohoo!

I added an ZigZag embossed panel of Smoky Slate and a wee bit of Baker's Twine, and then added some diecuts on the inside:

I cut apart my birthday sentiment to make it easier to stamp the words separately!  Thanks for visiting today!

Oh my, it has been an eventful last few days!  Yesterday morning, Cassidy pulled out her tooth, all by herself!  No tears, no whining....it was practically pushed out by the new tooth coming in!  Now the one next to it is a-wigglin'!

Enjoy your day!

IB108 and The Challenge

DSCF1199
I normally don’t post two times in one day, but I saw a cute inspiration photo on Inspired By, and time was running out!!!  Here it is:
This reminds me of London during the time of 101 Dalmatians….LOL!!!  That was the first movie my parents took me to, so it sticks out in my mind vividly!!   I don’t have any images like this but I liked the color combo, and after seeing Laurel’s sample, as well as this sample from Lorraine, I pulled out a few sets and went to work:
LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Vintage Bingo Stampin Up
I printed out a little bingo card (sorry, I don’t remember where I got it!), some Jenni Bowlin papers, a few SU stamps, and a bunch of embellishments, some of which were already sitting on my desk!   I think my favorite is the little bird:

And here are the rest of the embellies:

This also uses Lesley’s sketch at The Challenge!!!  Here’s what it looks like:
‘You should play along!!  And I am feeling lazy, so if you have any questions about what I used, just send me an email!
Another lineup!!!
