Yippee, it’s Wednesday…the week is almost half over! I am squeaking in a card using the As You See It sketch; I turned it on its side:

After Sunday’s card, I was hankering for some more vintage stuff, and I have TONS of Halloween vintage stamps, so I pulled out this little cat on a broom from Victorian Greetings I got last year and some MME Happy Haunting DSP:
Everything was stamped in Basic Black or Smoky Slate on Naturals White and Cajun Craze, and I also used Gorgeous Grunge and retired Rubbernecker and MFT Halloween sets as well. There’s a bit of ribbon, twine, sponging and sequins…I loaded it up!
And a bit of stamping on the inside:
Thanks for popping by!

Merry Monday 49
Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all weathered the weekend okay! It’s time for another Merry Monday challenge! Lesley has a sketch for us today:

A fun little sketch; I made a 4 1/4” square card for this one:
I don’t think I used this little silhouette image last Christmas, so I thought he would be perfect for the sketch as well as the Festive Friday challenge, which is an inspiration/color challenge of red, white and silver:

as well as the Jingle Belles challenge, which is “Ho Ho H2O”, or to use snow, sleet, ice, etc on your card! I think my sledding boy fits that just fine:
I used some beautiful SU Silver glimmer paper, a glimmer brad,, some retired SU silver cord and a snowy embossing folder. Of course, I added a little Dazzling Diamonds “snow” as well! I hope you’ll be able to play along with us this week and get a good head-start on those Christmas cards for 2013! You’ll be glad you did! Be sure to scoot on over to Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper, to see the wonderfully creative cards the DT made this week!
I don’t think I shared these photos….my friend Sandy gave Cassidy some washable markers for Christmas….they were a great hit!
Thanks for visiting---any questions, shoot me an email! Stay warm!

ColourQ 165
Happy, happy Tuesday, everyone! ColourQ day! Oooh, check out this pretty little apron:

Anybody could whip up a special batch of Christmas cookies while wearing this little number, right??? Love it! I cheated a little and substituted Wild Wasabi and Pool Party (cuz I was just too lazy to pull out my old ink!!!) but I still think it’s a fun combo! What do you think?
The images are all from Jolly BIngo Bits; the paper is from last year’s Domestic Goddess DP pack. Each square, punched with the Postage Stamp punch, has been embossed, and each image is decorated with a pearl, which qualifies this for the 52 (Christmas) Card Pickup challenge for November, which is pearls! I also stamped a narrow sentiment on a little flag of vellum, just for fun!
This also uses the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge sketch #172:

I hope you’ll play along with us with these fun, fun colors! You can check out Arielle’s card, as well as the other designers’, at the ColourQ blog! They’ll knock your socks off!
A budding artist!

Merry Monday 38
Merry Monday, everyone! Lesley has a very pretty sketch for us today:

I dug into my old hoarded stash of DPs and came up with some pretty Basic Grey papers for my card today:
I glittered up a little chipboard snowflake which fit perfectly on top of the snowflake image, and added a glimmer brad:
I also folded my little banner for some interest:
and here’s the simple inside:
I sure hope you’ll play along with us this week! Check out all the samples at Always Playing with Paper! Can’t wait to see yours!
We went to the pumpkin farm last week:
She just wanted to play with them! And here’s my own pumpkin----one of John’s Saturday morning pancakes just happened to look like a pumpkin! Well, maybe it looks more like a leaf! LOL!
