Hostess Party Projects

Hi peeps!  Happy Thursday to all!  This past weekend I had my Hostess Appreciation party!  We ate some lunch, played a game and did some stamping with products from the Occasions catalog:

This was my favorite project, a little tissue holder created by my sweet friend Vicki!  You can see her project here!  It is amazingly easy and so cute!  I used Blushing Bride cardstock and Birthday Bouquet DSP with Greatest Greetings and What I love Stamp sets in Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder inks:

This little 4 1/4" square card uses the same DSP, Mint Macaron cardstock and a little honeycomb embellishment with some baker's twine:

and Honeycomb Happiness for this inside:

The third project was a wee little coffee cup (from a restaurant supply store), covered with some papers from the Love Blossom 6x6 stack.  It featured a little banner diecut of Rose Red cardstock and  an"xoxo" from Blushing Bride glimmer paper (both from the Circle Card thinlits):

The top of the lid has a sweet sentiment from Suite Sayings (what a great set!) and a glimmer paper heart:

And we filled it up with some Valentine candy!  We also did a paper heart from January's Paper Pumpkin kit!

Here are Alison, Joan, Kathy and Robyn, hard at work!!!

As well as Linda, Debbie, Lesley and Sandy!

Have a great day!

CYCI102 and SIP30 Thank You

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  I needed a few thank you cards and I went to my go-to favorite stamp set of this year's SAB selection, What I Love!  I used the color palette from Stamp Ink Paper for this week:

SIP 30 Color Challenge 800

and the sketch from Can You Case It:

CYCI#102
And here we go:

I used some retired SU DSP and cut out around the scallops for my background panel, then used the smallest layer of the floral image from What I Love, and randomly stamped in Pink Pirouette on some Whisper White cardstock to make a background for the main panel.  I also stamped some gold speckles and small pink flowers as well.  Then I stamped the main floral image in Strawberry Slush, Primrose Petals and Rose Red:

I heat embossed the sentiment on Strawberry Slush, and the leaves on Gold Foil paper with Gold Encore ink and Gold embossing powder.  I finished it off with a gold mat, gold twine, and a little bit of Timeless Texture stamping on the face of the Crumb Cake card.  Thanks for popping in today!

Cassidy thought it would be fun to put her dolls in her baby car seat.....but she couldn't resist climbing in herself!!

She's just a wee bit too big!  Time flies, right?

CCMC387 Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  Hope you're having a good week so far!  Yesterday was my friend Robyn's birthday, and I used the sketch from Create with Connie and Mary for her card:

CCMC387

I am still playing with some of new goodies...this floral and spray image are from What I Love, stamped in Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Old Olive:

I used papers from the Pretty Petals paper stack; a sentiment from Endless Birthday Greetings; a candy dot and some thick Baker's twine!  Did some fussy cutting and added a little vellum scallop behind my flower as well:

And here's the inside!  A breath of spring for a cold winter's day!  Thanks for popping in today!
