Retreat Goodies

I promised to post some pix from our little stampin’ retreat, so here they are:

Here we are in the dining room, stamping merrily away! The name of the B&B is the Tea Kettle Inn….see all the teapots displayed on the wall?? CUTE! Now let’s look at some of the make & takes we did:

A sweet card designed by Alison, who organized the whole shebang….

This little 3x3 birthday card used glue, glitter & embossing powder for a cool heated effect!!! This was courtesy of Lori!

Shawn had us make a cool card with lots of fun textures and elements! (This was cased from jamiepqh onSCS).

And Penny outdid herself with this cool acetate-covered box filled with little cards, envies and CANDY! SWEET!

My treat was this little candy holder I found on SCS; here’s an inside view:

And here is a card I sent to the owners after our stay:

Another one of those long skinny ones---using up those leftover scraps!

Thanks for visiting today!! Any questions, email me!

Great post, LeAnne! We sure did have fun!!! My cheeks hurt from laughing so much! teehee!! Can't wait until next year! I love the card you made for Patty & Kevin. I especially love how you pierced around the edge of the scallop that hangs over the DP. Gorgeous!

btw... my card was cased from jamiepqh on SCS.

Great projects and sounds like an awesome getaway. Any chance I could get the "recipe" for the acetate-covered box for cards and nuggets? Have a gift to make for a friend's Valentine's Day birthday so need to hurry. Thanks!
