Happy Friday, everyone! I was super pleased to be asked by Debbie from Creative Creases to be a guest designer! Fun folds are fun to make and fun to receive! I went searching in blogland for some creative inspiration and here's what I came up with:
This is called a "bay window" fun fold card, and it came courtesy of the uber-creative Mary Deatherage, and you can see her tutorial HERE. Here's how it looks when it's folded out:

For my card, I used Moody Mauve for the base, and Cajun Craze and All About Autumn DSPs for the panels. It was fun to use that beautiful leafy image for the front, then add some glittery patterns for the sides! I added a sentiment from Charming Sentiments on top of a Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer diecut accented with some Moody Mauve ribbon. The cool thing about this card is that it can fold flat for mailing...it's the same size as a regular card!

I love this, LeAnne! I have never tried the Bay Window fun fold but I love that is shows off the different sheets of paper and that DSP is gorgeous! Love the Bubble Bath Shimmer paper under your sentiment and the little strip of ribbon! Just perfect for your Guest Design gig! TFS and stay dry on this rainy day!
