CQC133 & OCCC

DSCF0298
Happy Tuesday, peeps!  Today, Arielle has a unique retro-feeling color challenge for us:
cqc133
As I was laying these colors out, I really had to resist the temptation to make a Halloween card!!!  I wanted to make a masculine birthday card for my BIL’s upcoming big day, so I went with that instead:
CQC133-LeAnne
I did some embossing with a CB embossing folder, stamped my retired SU image in black Stazon and then used my aquapainter and reinkers to color in this baby.  The Tasteful Trim die was used to make the zigzaggy embellishments.   And a jumbo eyelet adds some heavy metal to make it extra-masculine!  Although my BIL used to ride bikes a lot, his last accident cured him of that desire!  Nothing major, just enough to make him realize at his age, with a family, some things are better left to younger men!  So hopefully he can enjoy it vicariously through the card!  That being said, this card also qualifies for the Our Creative Corner Challenge this week----boys and their toys!  As always, feel free to email me with any questions!
I hope you zoom on over to the ColourQ blog to see what all those creative crafty chicks have come up with!  Such a diverse group of stampers, you’ll be sure to find inspiration from someone!  And thanks for visiting!

Chillin’ and readin’ in Grampy’s chair!!!

Oh this is a great card! Love the EF and that image. A lot of guys would like this one. I think I am married to the only man who says he would never get on a motor cycle. LOL I think he may have done something dumb when he was young. LOl

Another winner! The EF just makes this card perfect - wonderful coloring too. Our darling Ms C wearing a jacket but no shoes - my kinda girl for sure. Can't believe how "big girl" she's looking - give her a big hug for me

What a perfect masculine card. That ef works so perfectly with the motorcycle image. I like the way you've coloured the motorcycle too. The colourful zigzag strips are so fun.
Love to see Cassidy reading again. How nice of Grampy to share his chair with her;)
