Well, I didn’t think I would have time to stamp today but I did squeak some in, after seeing the cute RetroSketches sketch for today:
AND the beautiful colors at the Play Date Cafe:
AND the “Words” challenge at Frilly & Funkie, I came up with this:
This definitely fits the “funkie” rather than frilly category, and when I was making it, I was loving it, but after seeing it on the screen, I am not too sure…..I love the elements but am not convinced the two sentiments go together, although they are from the same set. It is a bit different from my usual style, too. Oh well….it’s done and ready to go in the mail!
I used a plethora of sets here, along with some Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends papers and a SU chipboard house. I’ve been waiting for a chance to use one of them, and when I saw the sketch, I knew it was my chance! If you have any questions about anything I’ve used here, be sure to send me an email! (And don’t forget to come back tomorrow for the Paper Players challenge!)

This is so pretty LeAnne! Great job combining those challenges! I love the house with the fence and the cute little bird. It's just adorable!
Thanks for picking my card at Paper Players this week!
Lovin' your funk! :) I see what you mean about the sentiments not being QUITE right together but I still like them. They don't clash and the "Live in the sunshine" gives the whole thing a slightly whimsical, light feel to me. Great piece!
I love all the details LeAnne, it's a gorgeous card and l think the sentiments are just lovely together.

What a cool, amazing card, LeAnne! I was so happy to see you had time to play with us at the PDCC. The details you put into this are incredible: the punched 'curtains', the picket fence, the stamped lace. I really love it! thanks for playing with us. Hugs!

GORGEOUS card LeAnne :)
This card is absolutely darling --the colors, the elements (especially nice touch adding the "shades" to the windows), and even the two sentiments! I'd say you do "funky" rather well. ;)
