FMS15 & HSS97

I am pretty much done mailing my Christmas cards, but thought I’d make a couple more to have on hand.   I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

and the “Old-Fashioned Christmas” theme from Hand Stamped Sentiments:

HSS97 Theme Challenge-001

My first card came together fairly quickly; I used some Graphics 45 Santa Post paper and a Crafty Secrets Christmas cut:

The second one featured a vintage image I had stamped, colored with Copics and mounted on a chipboard frame:

I know that one of Lesley’s requirements for the FMS challenge is clean, so I resisted the temptation to shabby up my frame!  I did add some digital vintage music as my background, and I hand-drew some woodgrain on my little sign:

A couple quick easy cards!  Now I need to concentrate on some December birthdays I have coming up!  If you have any questions about any of the cards or products, give me a shout!  And thanks for stopping by!

Grampy was teaching Cassidy how to eat yogurt by herself this morning!

She did pretty well!

I'm told that I have mail waiting at home for me from you! I'm really hoping it's that adorable second card, because I really want to know how you made (or where you got!) that gorgeous white frame-thing behind the sentiment! Both cards are fabulous, LeAnne! And can Cassidy get any cuter???

Perfect cards for the old fashioned Christmas theme on HSS this week. Love all the layers. The little white frame behind the sleigh ride sign is just the right touch. Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

Great cards!! Curious: Cassidy's shirt and bib look a lot like SU fabric.... could it be?? What a joy it is to celebrate Christ's birth with little children in the house!

Dear Leanne. before I comment on your card, I just have to tell you, that your grabd daugther is so super cute. I love that age where so many new things are exciting for both the child and adult who care for them.. Give her a big hug from me.
And dear you! Your cards are just beautiful! So well done.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who makes extra Christmas cards just in case! I love the vintage look of these and I'm especially impressed by your hand-drawn woodgrain! Now that Cassidy has mastered yogurt with a spoon, what's next? Chopsticks?!
