Happy Birthday Little Bro

Today is my little brother’s birthday!  Having three girls in the family, his birth was a very exciting moment for our family!  Of course, this was way back when parents did not know the gender of their babies until the moment they were born, so the phone call home to me and my sisters was met with excited shouts and much jumping up and down!  He’s still special!  Anyway, I made him a card using this week’s Mojo Sketch 168:

along with some Cosmo Cricket Joy Ride DP:

 

I let the paper do most of the talking!  I used a HB sentiment from SU’s Hostess set, Afterthoughts, as well as four little hearts (see them under the right panel???) stamped in matching colors, punched & popped, from Itty Bitty Bits to fulfill the little “brads” requirement there.  A star and button added some interest without being too frilly—at least I hope it isn’t too frilly!  Uh oh, I just remembered that my SIL HATES buttons.  Ooops.  Oh well!!
