TSOT223 and CAS on Sunday 61

DSCF0611

Just a quick  card today….Cassidy started swimming lessons yesterday so my mornings this week and next are full!  Try Stampin’ On Tuesday has two-week challenges now, and last week’s challenge was “rain”!  I know it’s summer now, not spring, but I didn’t have a chance to use this sweet little Ali Edwards set too much during the spring, so I thought I’d put it to use, along with the raindrops from Sprinkles of Life from SU:

Pretty plain, huh?  Not even a sequin or two!  I did add some glaze to my raindrops, but other than that, it’s a totally one-layer card, so that fits the challenge at CAS on Sunday too!

The flowers are Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral with Wild Wasabi stems.  Sentiment is Lost Lagoon.  Thanks for stopping by today!

My DH has his own business cleaning carpets and upholstery; sometimes his customers bring their rugs to the shop and he cleans them there.  He asked Cassidy to help him roll up this one:

And once it was rolled up, it made a great place to sit!

Enjoy your day!

I have followed your blog for YEARS, almost since the beginning, and I was just wondering if I followed you for your papercrafting talent, which is vast, OR to watch Cassidy grow up!!! I'm not good at leaving comments but, every now & again, I feel I'd like to touch base with the blogger, and that is why I'm leaving this comment today, Thank you for your daily inspiration AND your daily pics of Cassidy. I was wondering if you would still be posting her pics up to graduation [high school, college, etc????] Thanks again, LeAnne

We'll let this pass LeAnne, after all, it's only been summer for two days!! Very cute, I like the little flowers! Your hubby's garage is spic and span!! Does he wash the car and truck before he pulls them in? Look at that floor ~ WOWZA!! My hubby would have garage envy, I better not show him this LOL! He always complains ours is too small ;)
