Merry Monday 106 Gingerbread People

DSCF2408
Hey, peeps, it’s Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?  Although the pollen count was crazy, I made it through!!   And now it’s time for another Merry Monday, and Katie has a sweet-as-can-be challenge for us:

I just happened to get a new set of  Christmas stamps last week, and it just happened to have gingerbread people in it!!!  So here ya go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Merry Monday 106 Gingerbread Christmas Card Stampin

I stamped my people on Baked Brown Sugar cardstock in white craft ink, then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I gave them a bit more color and shading with some reinkers and aquapainters, then mounted them on a snowflake-embossed oval:

I added the banner and a few buttons, then stamped the inside with this sweet sentiment:

Papers are from Simple Stories’ Handmade Holiday!  I am also entering this in the Christmas Card Challenges 22 – Anything Goes- and the Jingle Belles challenge, All Bundled Up – to use at least three layers!  Hope you’ll play along with us too and share your sweet creation at the Merry Monday blog!

Now I am hungary for ginger bread. LOL Adorable card!
Cassidy looks a little dizzy. One eye is looking off to the side. Really a fun picture of her.
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Linda

These cute little guys arrived just in time! I love how you've embossed their icing! We always have lots of icing on our gingerbread men especially when the kids are decorating them! A perfect sentiment too! Have a great week, LeAnne!
