CMCC15 and JUGS236

DSCF2189
Happy Saturday, everyone!  What a gorgeous day it is here in PA!  FINALLY!  I made a quick card after running my errands using the Colour Me…! challenge:
along with the JUGS challenge:

 of a watercolored background:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Another Thank You Watercolor Stampin UP

I needed a thank you card for someone special who did me a big favor, and I have done this watercolor resist technique before, and I thought these fun colors would be great!   I heat embossed the “thank you” from Another Thank You polymer set with Versamark and clear EP, then simply painted on some Bermuda Bay ink and water.  I did add a few speckles, then a couple of embellishments:

I stuck a Candy Brad on the inside of a small Designer Vintage Faceted button and adhered to a heart diecut from the Hearts Framelits set.  Easy peasy!  Enjoy your day!

No more markers for Cassidy (at least for a while!):

Products used (plus retired Bermuda Bay ribbon and Itty Bitty Backgrounds):

This is a great color combination-will have to try it out and I'm loving the watercoloring these days as a background. Will have to try them emboss resist with it, it's perfect. The picture of Cassidy-cracks me up!!! At least she was having some fun.

I recognized that as the resist technique right off but didn't realize it was water color. Of course it is!!! It is wonderful.

I struggle with huge sentiments - but I am inspired by your embossing and the Bermuda wash - it's a gorgeous look!
