PPA245 and CCMC348

DSCF8805

Yay, it’s Friday!  Do you have something awesome planned for this weekend?  It’s a busy one for us, but I squeaked in some stamping time yesterday to make a birthday card for a dear friend.  I thought the Create with Connie & Mary colors were so pretty:

CCMC348

and the Pals Paper Arts sketch was intriguing:

PPA245

so here is my simple card:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Pictogram Punches Birthday Stampin Up

A couple of embossed layers, some flowers from Pictogram Punches, a sentiment from And Many More, and some seam binding and baker’s twine to tie it all up:

The matching punch makes cutting out these flowers a cinch!  Have a great day!

I thought both kinds of “piggies” were cute in this pic!

My you are an early bird today my friend! I love your card, especially the vine embossed background - I forgot what a great background this makes. Love the crossed twine/ribbon too - this brings the whole design together. I was intrigued by the sketch too - a great take! Super use of our CCMC colours too. Sending wishes for a wonderful weekend!

Definitely a sweet picture of Cassidy.
This card is so pretty - love the soft colours of this combo. I love that seam binding and the way you have the bakers twine running down and overlapping it.
I hope you're feeling better and able to enjoy your weekend. I know it's going to busy;)

That sketch is deceptively simple and is a bit of a stumper for me. But you've totally rocked it with the embossed background and that row of sweet flowers!
