Be Still

DSCF6048

Today’s card may look like a valentine, but it is not; it is a very sad one….it is a sympathy card for a local family who lost their 30-year-old daughter to a rare form of cancer.  She left a husband and an adorable 2-year-old daughter; I went to school with her mom, and the pain they all must be feeling is unimaginable.

This uses the sketch #152 from Card Patterns (I swapped the oval from west to east as I felt it fit my image better):

and also fulfills the That’s Krafty Thursday #58 challenge from The Spotted Chick, which is to use kraft, as well as The Catered Crop recipe swap, which is to use a heart.    If you have any questions about the card or products, please send me an email (be sure to include YOUR email address so I can respond!).  Don’t forget to stop back tomorrow for a new color challenge from the ColourQ!

Having a need for a sympathy card is a sad thing but your card is just lovely. I know you'll all surround this family with love.
Stampin' Up boxes -- you get to play with the goodies inside and Cassidy gets the box!! Fun for all!

Such a sad reason to send a card. It must have been hard to create. The hearts says it all.
