FMS124 & CTD280

DSCF1125

Phew, it’s Friday!  YAY!  I am hoping this week is on its way to settling down!  I have had this card made for two days and haven’t had a chance to post it!  It uses the Color Throwdown colors for this week:

and the Freshly Made Sketches sketch from Karren:

Now, in my haste, I totally missed that the sentiment was supposed to be at the TOP LEFT…but I am submitting it anyway and since I love the three panels sketch, I may just do another one!  I need to bulk up my birthday card supply!  So here we go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Birthday Wishes Card Gingham Wheel Stampin Up

I stamped the three panels with the Gingham Wheel, and added an embossed background (which is difficult to see), a couple of stars and a little denim doodad, finished off with some candy dot brads.  I had most of these supplies already on my desk from my last card, LOL!

I unmounted my Gingham Wheel and adhered it to some clear-mount cling foam (you can find this on page 197 of the current SU catalog) to make it a bit easier to use.  Now off to run some errands!  But first, a little Cassidy pic getting her creative on:

Spritzing:

and cutting (we’re still working on scissors skills, LOL!):

Enjoy your day!

Wow look at Cassidy go. She is learning to be a great card maker like her Grammy. So sweet.
I like this masculine card today. I really like the plaid/gingham. I need to make a bday card for DH for next Wed and this has truly inspired me. Thanks for that:)

So fun! Love the different colored gingham panels. Thanks for joining us for this week's Color Throwdown! The kindergarten teacher in me loves to see that Cassidy is practicing her cutting skills!

Cassidy is proving that you're never too young to start stamping! She'll be winning contests before you know it :). The Allentown stamp show is early this year--March 15th. Are you thinking of going?

Love this, LeAnne. Appropriate for guys or girls but definitely a great masculine card. Love the stars, too!

I've always admired that gingham wheel and just adore this card. Now that I hear that you've unmounted your wheel I'm totally intrigued because I can't use those wheels for a darn. Was it hard to do?

Great card LeAnne! I love that gingham! Looks so fun! Those stars are so sweet! I always forget to mount my candy dots on the brads!!!! You are so patient with Cassidy! My boys walk in my craft room and I cringe...partly because it's probably a safety hazard most days!!!!! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
