CASC&SC533 Pastel Eggs

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I got these SU Easter Egg dies just in time to make a few more Easter cards! My card today uses the CAS Colours & Sketches sketch from my teamie Joanne, and although my eggs take up a little bit more space than what shows on her sketch, I hope she won't mind!  Here's the sketch:

And here we go:

I diecut each egg from pastel cardstocks and adhered the outlines to a polka-dot embossed panel. This is one of those times where I wish I had used adhesive paper on the back of my eggs....they did NOT want to adhere to that embossed panel!

I mixed up the inner pieces and inserted them back into the eggs and added a Close to My Heart Easter sentiment stamped in Balmy Blue.  I just hope they'll arrive to the recipient still attached to the card, LOL!  Aren't these colors pretty together? And I added some pale sequins just for fun!

Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Those pastel eggs are so fun and fabulous and make for a great Easter card. If I had seen them, I'd have probably bought them because they're awesome, and so is this card.

Wowzers, LeAnne! Your Easter eggs are so pretty! Ha! As much as we love our embossing, it can make glueing a bit of an issue, right? But those Swiss dots are SO pretty peeking through those openings!
