ColourQ149

DSCF5847

How’s everyone doing on this Tuesday?  Okay, I hope!  It’s time for another ColourQ challenge from Arielle!  I am loving this combo…what do you think?

This purse probably wouldn’t be BIG enough for all of my junk, but it sure is cute!  I made a fairly simple card (cuz I am still fighting my cold) using Triple Treat Flower stamped in Versamark and Summer Starfruit, then heat embossed with clear EP:

Since it was pretty simple, I added some texture with the Fancy Fan embossing folder as well as the Delicate Designs folder and matching Edgelit.  The piercing templates make adding a little border easy as pie!

I finished it off with a Midnight Muse Dahlia and some Summer Starfruit satin stitched ribbon.  I sure hope this palette inspires you to create something wonderful….share it with us over at the ColourQ so we can enjoy it as well!  And be sure to check out the other designers’ beautiful creations too!

Fun at Nottingham Park!

Love the clean lines here - and that embossed edge is terrific - I just got that but haven't tried it yet! That baby isn't even here yet and it seems like I have so much to do this month that involves baby baby baby and not stamping stamping stamping :)

Love your card LeAnne, but not loving that Summer Starfruit color. I just can't warm up to it yet.

I really like the embossed Triple Treat - lots of great texture going on here.

Love that inspiration photo and you definitely did it justice! Great card! Sorry you're STILL under the weather- ick! The hubby has been hacking and coughing for over a month now- finally caved and is heading to the doctor tomorrow. :( Hope you're feeling better sooner than he has!

Sorry your not feeling quite yourself yet. Your card is lovely.
Cassidy looks like she was enjoying her self. We celebrated Dad's 80 surprise birthday there in 1999. He will be 93 this Sept.
