Happy Saturday, peeps! I am on my new computer, which is wonderful, but there is definitely a learning curve and it is taking me a while to figure out all the bells and whistles. Today I am just sharing a couple of cards I made lately, no challenges, just for friends and family.
This first one is a thank you for a friend who gave me a lovely birthday present. Again I used some of those yummy MME papers I had laying on my desk; I made a cool chipboard element with some cardboard from my DP package and a Nestie:
The second one is a birthday card for my niece, who LOVES dogs:
It uses the new SU set, Animal Talk! The inside says “Dog talk for Happy Birthday”!!! Cute!
Hope you all have a happy Saturday---be sure to come back tomorrow for the Paper Players challenge!

Don't you just love making cards for the fun of it and not because you have to. These are both great.
Love both cards. The doggie is too cute! Cassidy has on the cutest outfit too!
Happy Saturday to you too. I love the soft colours of this first card and the pretty lace bows. It's fun to see pictures of Cassidy again - I've missed them while I was away.
Have fun with your new computer.
Love that bow shaped lace!! Great papers and a darling card. Cute second card with all the polka dots :)
very cute cards. So glad you got a new computer. Enjoy your weekend.
This is beautiful, LeAnne! I love the colors and that lace trim is just gorgeous!!
Happy belated birthday, I'm sorry I missed it! What kind of computer did you get? We're on the hunt for one ourselves... We're thinking Apple, but it would be a whole NEW learning curve. Actually, anything at this point would be new since I'm still using an older Windows system... LOL!
Oh no! I am so sorry I missed your birthday! Both of these cards are gorgeous - so fun! And look at little Miss Cassidy - she is such a beautiful girl!
Twenty+ years ago I wrote my undergraduate psychology thesis on computer anxiety. I feel your "pain" with your learning curve. My next computer challenge is to really learn MDS 2. Love your card ...and all the Cassidy pics. The pool one the other day truly captured their joy!
Both cards are so wonderful LeAnne, you have a way with dps you know. Cassidy is darling as usual.
LeAnne, I am SO sorry that I missed your birthday, friend! Everything has been so wonky with getting prepared for my foot surgery, that I am off my game. Arggghh!! It just gives you an excuse to celebrate a little bit longer, right? Be on the lookout for something from me soon, ok? *wink wink* Hope you had a wonderful day! Hugs! :)
So pretty! Love the lacy bows!
