AHSC 449 Peace Shaker Card

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  I have a fun shaker card for you today and it uses the sketch from Atlantic Hearts:

And here we go:

I started by making the shaker portion, using one side of a SU clear envelope as the front of the shaker, adhering it to a piece of printed paper on three sides of the back, filling with glitter and sequins, and then adhering the fourth side closed. I diecut three funky trees and adhered to the front, then attached the whole thing to a scalloped piece of Crumb Cake:

I embossed a piece of white cardstock with a Darice snowflake embossing folder, then adhered it to a Merry Merlot card base.  A wee bit of grosgrain ribbon and Linen thread formed a bow for the top. I stamped a really old Sweet & Sassy sentiment for the front and an equally old Waltzingmouse sentiment went on the inside:

This card really is prettier in real life than it shows in the photos!  You'll have to take my word for it!  Thanks for visiting today!

You did a great job. That's the one type of card I don't enjoy making but I love to see them.

This is awesome, LeAnne! I've never tried an edge to edge shaker, but I see I need to now. Your shaker bits look like a snow globe. So pretty!

Beautiful card! I love the colors. Isn't Merry Merlot so pretty? Did you color the grosgrain ribbon? It matches so well!

What a great shaker! I love those funky trees, and I totally believe you about it being much prettier IRL. That is usually the case, especially when there's sparkle involved. LeAnne, thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit my blog. Happy holidays!
