PP592 Merry Sketch

Hello stampers, happy Sunday!  It's Paper Players time and I am the hostess this week with a sketch for you:

It was SO hot yesterday here in PA, I decided to make a Christmas card to cool off!  Here we go:

I got these ornament stamps and dies at the end of the Christmas season so I hadn't really had a chance to play with them!  I stamped them on Shimmery White cardstock in Stazon ink, then watercolored them in shades of Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake.  I chose some matching DSPs from last year's catalog, Tidings of Christmas:

I mixed my metallics...I hope that's not a big faux pas...using silver cord and gold pearls, then added a stacked diecut "merry" at the bottom, popped up on little slivers of dimensionals!  I also added a diecut scalloped border:

There are so many ways this sketch can be interpreted!  I hope you'll find some inspiration and play along, it would mean a lot to me!  You can see what all the design team created over at the Paper Players blog...check it out, then be sure to share yours too!  Thanks for visiting today...enjoy it and be blessed!

This was a super fun sketch LeAnne, I loved it! Great Christmas card here, your watercolored ornaments look great. I discovered my StazOn pad is bone-dry and I haven't found the ink refills in stock anywhere. Also I think mixed metallics was super trendy a couple years ago ;)

This is such a lovely Christmas card, LeAnne. Such pretty details on the beautiful ornaments, and Shimmery White paper adds such pretty lustre. It's one of my favorites for holiday cards. Your stacked letters with the white shadow look great too!
It's always time to make a card for Christmas or listen to Christmas music in my book. Hope, Light, and Peace are needed every day! Praying for your family.
