PP570 Winter Wonderland

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Hope your weekend is going well!  Jaydee is our Paper Players hostess this week and she has a wonderful theme board for us:

Boy, I had a tough time deciding in which direction to go this week....so many gorgeous choices!  In the end, I went kind of clean-and-simple, using that wintery scene on the top right as my inspiration. I had been playing around with this CTMH image earlier in the week and this just sort of fell together:

(I guess I could even have used the deer and the cabin inspiration as well!)  I stamped the snowglobe in Misty Moonlight ink and diecut it out. I then took a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock and ran it through a snowflake embossing folder and sponged the flakes with white craft ink.  My sweet friend Danni from Inspired By recently gave me a gift wrapped in this awesome lightweight silver paper....I could NOT throw it away, so I used it as a mat for my snowflake base as well as the snowglobe!

And finally, just a simple sentiment banner and snowflake to finish it off:

I am also going to enter this at the Little Red Wagon, where their challenge this week is "let it snow"!

Now, what will inspire you?  Snowflakes and mittens?  Deer in the woods? A warm cabin?  Or maybe a cardinal and some snowy pines!  Can't wait to see what you create this week!  Please share it with us at the Paper Players and be sure to check out what the designers created as well!  Thanks for popping in today!

It's tree-cutting time!  Santa Wayne is on the job!

That Eden...she's such a ham!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

How fun! I think I would really enjoy cutting down my own Christmas tree, my allergies would think otherwise though. Looks like you got a good one. As for your card this week, I love that you used white to lighten up the raised areas. Awesome card! TFS the pics too!

LeAnne, this card is beautiful. The embossed background adds such beautiful texture. Although your card is perfect for this week's theme, I think I fell in love with Eden. We have a blue nose pittie named Lucky who is the same way. He loves the camera. Hope you enjoy your weekend.
