TCC160 Thankful Sunflowers

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  It's time for a lovely new Card Concept challenge, where we tell our card-making style!  Here's the prompt for today, which happens to be the first day of fall:

I anticipated seeing a lot of big, bold sunflowers in our DT gallery, so I turned and went in another direction!  I still have this sweet little hostess set from 2005 called Provencal, and remembered this little bouquet of sunflower, so I stamped it in Stazon ink on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and got out my inks and aquapainter:

It was quick and easy to color in!

I then added some plaid and woodgrain papers for my background, as well as some Daffodil Delight crinkled ribbon, a couple of green epoxy drops, and a sweet little sentiment from Sparkle of the Season:

It is always fun pulling out some of my older stamps and showing them some love!  I'd say this is my usual "clean and layered" style....I can't see to get away from it!  I hope you'll play along with us as well!  Be sure to check out what all the styles are on the Card Concept blog, and while you're there, check out what the DT has created for you to peruse!  Thanks for visiting today!

This card is going into my favorites folder for a rainy day case! (which might be today or tomorrow LOL) Thanks for sharing, I love it! :)

Plaid is my jam so I love the extra focus you've given it here LeAnne! Paired with the flowers and woodgrain background and the extra touches of yellow - wonderful.
