IB113 Home Sweet Green Home

Happy Thursday, peeps!  Time for another Inspired By challenge...here's Laurel's photo inspiration for us this week:

I was inspired by that bright green couch, reminding me that I haven't used Call Me Clover for a long time!  I used some old and new goodies for my take on the challenge:

I began by stamping the retired Floral background stamp in Call Me Clover on some matching cardstock and diecutting it into a circle.  I was also inspired by the white blooms on the coffee table, so I stamped some blooms of my own (Beautiful Bouquet) in white craft ink on Call Me Clover as well, then heat embossing them with white embossing powder and diecutting them out:

I added some vellum-stamped ferns from Positive Thoughts and some coppery glimmer paper embellishments, finishing it off with a sentiment from Beautiful Day.  My sketch came from CAS Colours and Sketches:

I left the inside blank so I can use it for any occasion!

Thanks for visiting today, I hope that you'll play with our challenge this week as well!  Can't wait to see what you create!  Check out all the DT samples at Inspired By!

Cassidy spent Saturday night here, so of course she wanted to draw something for Lee.  I have to give her credit...she goes online and googles how to draw stuff!!!  I guess you can find anything by googling it!  Anyway, here, she was trying to draw a motorcycle:

Eventually she gave up on that and ended up with a guitar:

I particularly liked the ombre effect she was going for!!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
