CFC16 & SSC217

DSCF6322-1

Happy Monday, peeps!  Just a quick post today – a quick little CAS card using the sketch from Stampin 411:

ssc217

and the CAS-ual Fridays challenge 16 which was to use embossing.  I broke open my new Domestic Goddess DP for this one:

DSCF6322

I used a Polka Dot EF and the Boho Blossoms punch for my embellishments, along with some Pool Party ruffled ribbon!

Really simple!  I love the colors in this paper—so fresh!  Speaking of fresh, I have tomatoes from the garden calling me, so that’s it for today.  The baby is teething and not feeling well, so my DD stayed home to be with her—which means a day off for Grammy and no pictures!  Sorry!  Hopefully on Wednesday we’ll have some new ones!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new ColourQ challenge!  Have a great day!

Wee Details:

  • Stamps:  Touch of Kindness
  • Paper:  WW, Textured WW, Poppy Parade, Domestic Goddess DP
  • Ink:  Poppy Parade
  • Acc:  Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Boho Blossoms Punch, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, 1/8” punch

How pretty! The more I see this beautiful dsp, the more I wish I had gotten 2 sets at my party last week. Can't wait to get going with it. I love how the boho blossoms mimics the flowers in the paper. The pool party is jumping up in favorite colors also. Just so bright & cheery!! What sizes are the little squares? Enjoy your yummy tomatoes. Hope the wee ones teeth are feeling better soon. That is just no fun.

Your card is so cute and happy! The randomness of the sweet flowers just make one want to smile and feel happy - great job!
btw, my dotted line stamp is from the Punched Posies set. It's no longer in the catty - was a hostess set in the summer mini of 2010.
Love your blog - hugs,
JoyceAnn

LOVE those colors, and the design is darling! I don't think I have EVER used Poppy Parade, but now I'm going to pair it up with Pool Party immediately!
