A Little of This and That

DSCF4340

I have a little variety of stuff here, so sit tight and hang on!  First, ya like those two little owls?  Aren't they cute?  Here's the whole CAS shebang:

DSCF4339

New Dusty Durango and Soft Suede In Colors, Animal Stories and Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Brad. Large oval punch. Done.  Next!   My stamp clubs this month learned how to make a spinner card; the directions can be found at SCS in the resources section--they are fun and easy now that we have the Word Window punch at our disposal.  I also wanted to showcase retiring products, so we used some In Colors and Seeing Spots for this card:

We stuck a little glue dot on the center of the flower and covered it with some Cosmo fine glitter--easy & fun!

Finally, as one of my gifts for my hostess, I found the directions for this cute "animal cracker" box on Inky Doodles' blog.  She has great instructions, check it out!  Again, I used retiring  Riding Hood Red cardstock and Patterns DP, and the Curly Label Bundle for a tag:

Instead of using a large brad, I sewed a button on and slid the lid behind it.  I used some SU acetate behind the oval that I cut with my Cuttlebug.  It had all kinds of neat goodies in there!  I think she liked it! :D  Thanks for visiting today!  If you have any questions, just shoot me an email!

Very fun projects. Your owl card inspired me to come up with a variation for the Cards for Hero's card set I'm making up.

Same owls and with a slight color change to fit the sentiment...
There's no camoflaging how I feel about you....

Thanks for the inspiration.

Blessings - Jean
