Ten-Minute Card----NOT!

DSCF7651

My sweet bloggin’ friends Lesley and Carole’Anne have started a new 10-Minute Card Challenge, so I thought I would try to make a card in 10 minutes.  Well, that didn’t happen.  It was more like 20 minutes….although if I had not tried to ink my sentiment with a marker instead of just going the easy route with an ink pad, it would have been less.  So here’s the sketch to use for the challenge:

SAH119

and I decided to use the Inkspirations Color Challenge here:

makeesha-colour-challenge-21

and made a Mother’s Day card:

I know, my panels do not match the sketch, but I REALLY wanted to use this image and it was just too tall!  I hope they don’t mind!  I love how it came out, great colors, fun sketch!  Thanks for visiting again today!

Great card, and I like the way you adapted the sketch. Hey, and 20 minutes isn't bad, you should check out my time! LOL Thanks for playing along with us, come back next week.

Beautiful! Lovin' all the texture. And I see what you mean... that sketch, with it's framed double panels.... not so much a 10-minute kind of thing. (Even if I DIDN'T usually spend 20 minutes simply looking around for stuff on my desk, LOL!)

WOW! I love the simplicity of this card and I love how you used the colours! I'm not sure I have ever succeeded in making a 10 min card. I will have to have a go!
