Oh my, another CAS card! Well, Susan, the CAS queen, the one-layer wonder woman, the siren of simplicity, has offered up a challenge on her blog, Simplicity: to make a one-layer, no-embellishment card each Wednesday! Love it! But as much as I say I love CAS, to actually do a truly CAS, one-layer, no-embellishment card makes me gulp! But I needed a sympathy card, so I pulled out Best Wishes & More last night (can you tell I love this set) and a sentiment from Three Little Words and came up with this:
I dug out an old retired SU corner rounder (cuz my other one died) just to give it a little interest......Mellow Moss and Close to Cocoa ink....and I'll put a Bible verse on the inside. And look......I even used some colored CS as my background (just like SUSAN does!). Wish I had spaced my leaves a little better, but I hope it will bring some comfort. TFL!

EEEEEEE!!! I love the overlapping leaves! Did you use two shades of ink or off-stamp for the lighter shade?
Sorry you needed a sympathy card. Hugs.
I love it!! GORGEOUS one layer card!! Love it, I say!
What a lovely card!
Oh I love the leaves!!!! They look so natural. I thought it was a wheel! Wonderful card LeAnne!
Simple and elegant, an unbeatable combination! Your leaves are fine (can't see anything wrong there.) The rounded corners finish it off just right, too.
It is perfect just the way it is.
This is super cute! You are such an inspiration to me! Dads here and night 1 went well but he doesn't want me to leave and go to work! I can miss today but I can't make it a habit :(
WOW, I love that card!!!
I like the elegance and simple of this
This is beautiful! I love CAS cards, but I have to admit I've never tried one without ANY embellishments. You did an awesome job with that challenge!
GREAT design, LeAnne! Simple and perfect!
Great card, clean and simple looks classy. Thanks for sharing. ~Diane

Love the overlapping leaves, I'm always too scared to do it - brave you.
