CAS Marrakesh Style

DSCF3975

Just a quick post today as I am helping my friend move--in the rain!  I LOVED the CAS sketch at SCS this week--so many possibilities.  My "guy" birthday card stash was getting low, so I pulled out my BG Marrakesh paper and punched out some coordinating circles:

There's actually ONE Boxer paper in there too! Added a simple sentiment and it's good to go.  Paper is Bordering Blue, ink is Night of Navy.  I tried it with some NON circles behind the DP circles, but didn't like it quite as much:

Not quite as "CAS" to me.  Thanks for visiting & have a great day!

I love your take on the sketch. Perfect male cards (which are always hard to make, I think).

You know, why don't I sit down at my craft desk and think of this simple technique that looks so great? I guess I make it harder than I should, because these are both great!
