Blindingly Bright PB Teen Challenge

I haven't done a SCS inspiration challenge for a long time, but I had a quick few minutes in between "events" today so I threw this card together:

01-17-09 Pom Pom challenge

This is a little outside my normal realm of card-making, but it is a challenge, after all!   It is just so BRIGHT!  We were to make something inspired by Pottery Barn Teen, so this was my inspiration piece:

Pottery Barn Teen This is called the "Pom Pom Organic Pillow Cover".  I knew I had some pink pom poms around for a project I never did, so I stuck them on a card and added an embellishment and a sentiment and called it done!  I only wish the end of my pom pom piece was a little neater/straighter.  Might have to do some adjusting on that!  But it was quick and that's what I needed today!
Thanks for visiting!

  • Stamps:  Polka Dot Posies (ret), Best Yet, Holiday Blitz
  • Paper:  Pixie Pink, Whisper White
  • Ink:  Pixie Pink
  • Acc:  Pom poms, Rhinestones, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals

Listen to you..."I just threw this card together"! How do you do that and create something so cool? I love the way the sentiment is cut off on the end! Love this, LeAnne!

IF that raw edge is bothering you, it looks like the easiest fix would be to just trim the side of the card and then glue the edge of the ribbon down. Listen to ME telling YOU what to do! meh

I'll tell you LeAnne---you can take an inspiration piece and nail it EVERY TIME!!! This card is perfect for it. I love how you did the sentiment---cutting off part of the oval like that...and of course, the pom-poms are toooooo cute~great job!
