Well, I haven't played any SCS challenges in what seems like forever, and I almost didn't play today, but I needed a birthday card for my nephew. He is a gun-totin', camo-wearin', truck-drivin' kind of guy so I wasn't sure he would appreciate a "starry" card, but that's what he's gettin'!
I did some embellishing on the inside too! I used a variety of star shapes on the inside and out--all were punched, and a couple were trimmed down to layer. Thanks for visiting!
- Stamps: Say it with Scallops, It's Your Birthday (ret)
- Paper: Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Manchester DP
- Ink: Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze

I wish my "stop button" wouldn't kick in until I finished a card to the level that you do.
I have an honest question: with all the cards you are constantly making, how could you actually NEED a card?
LOVE those colors!!! Clean - sharp - gorgeous (as always)
Elaine took the words out of my mouth (fingers?). This is a very clean and crisp card and your nephew is one lucky guy! I'll bet he loves it! p.s. thanks again for the awards - you ROCK! ~chris
Great card! I love the clean look and the stars are awesome!
Of course your nephew will love this card, it was made special for him. The DSP and stars look great together.
Oh LeAnne, I just loveeeeee this card! So masculine! Nice job on the challenge, too!
LeAnne this is such a great card... Love the layout you used.
This is fantastic! I absolutely love your stamp choices. I still have yet to ink up that super cute congrats image. You have definitely inspired me to make a card using it! Great details, too!
Great boys card. I like that DSP.
Trying this again...
If he doesn't like it, then too bad! I love it! Love the different patterns, and the scalloped square behind the star... GREAT detail!
