Happy Wednesday, all! It's time for another Card Concept challenge; here is the prompt Julie has given us this week
Yikeys! This one really threw me for a loop, as I do not travel and don't have ANY globe or suitcase stamps, LOL! I did remember an older SU set that had a globe in one of the sentiments, and I searched through my vast array of printed papers and came up with some that had some geographical images, so here we go:
This is an uber-simple card, so I would classify it as Clean and Layered. I stamped the image in Garden Green and colored in the "world" with a Balmy Blue blend. I diecut it with a Stitched Nested Labels die and added a mat of Balmy Blue to back it:
For a little added interest, I added another Stitched Nested Label layer and some glimmer dots before adhering the whole thing to a Very Vanilla card base with a mat of Mint Macaron and the unknown-maker printed paper! I can only think of a couple people that I would send this card to, so I guess I'd better save it for a very special occasion!
I hope that our photo inspiration prompts you to create something fun! Be sure to check out the Card Concept blog and see what the DT has created, then share yours as well. Just be sure to tell us what your "style" is when making your creation! Can't wait to see it! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

You beat that challenge, LeAnne! It's out of this world!

Wow! Great creativity. I really like how you cut off the edge of the Stitched Nested Labels. The edges of the DSP don't look smooth to me, which gives it that "old world" feel, which I love. The addition of the 3 dots is perfect. The Card Concept challenges always throw me for a loop!
I think you nailed it LeAnne, this is wonderful! What a great sentiment. You know... I think we used to have a globe just like the one in the photo!
Awesome card, LeAnne! I love seeing the older stamps getting a breath of fresh air! Great colors and a fantastic design! Well done! :)
I remember that stamp set! It is perfect with that DSP for this challenge!
I still have that stamp too - and it's perfect for the challenge!
