I Love October

DSCF8555-1

Woohoo!  I don’t always post on Saturdays but since it is October 1, and I love October, I made a couple seasonal cards today!  They both use digital images and are colored with Copics, although I was doing them in front of the television last night and in broad daylight, I can see some glaring mishaps that I’ll need to “fix”!  But here they are, warts & all! The first is just an all-purpose card which I left blank; I’ll stamp a sentiment inside when I decide to use it:

The second is a little Halloween box from SU’s Box #2 diecut….my top little jacko is missing some blending on his nose!!!

This is also for Shirley’s Monster Mash Halloween Blog Hop (you can play along—see below) as well as the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge 86 for this week, which is also Halloween!    And the sentiment is a gift from my sweet friend Martha…..how convenient that I made this today, right?  Can you guess who might get this for Halloween??

We went to a local orchard this morning and I managed to snag a few pictures before she face-planted in the gravel and the morning went downhill from there!   As it was, the only way I could get her to smile here was to sing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”….her current favorite song!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting!  If you have any questions about the projects, just shoot me an email!

Those are great projects Leanne. Your coloring is wonderful. I really like the ribbon treatment on that first card. Gives so much dimension to the cornhusks. The "little pumpkin" pictures made me smile.

Love your indian corn card and the way the ribbon is ruffled resembling the husk! The pumpkin box is very cute, despite any blending mishaps! I love that picture of your daughter and granddaughter too-just beautiful!

I'm going to post some of my cards on my blog this week. My readers just aren't "into" my card making though.

I love that indian corn. Is that an SU digital? I don't really understand them yet.

And between Cassidy, your daughter and you....You are three very beautiful females!!!
