Happy Tuesday—which means it’s ColourQ time! I was sweating bullets when I saw this color combo:
What in the world was I going to do with these? I already had my Father’s Day cards done, so I didn’t want to make another one. The colors had a subdued feel to me, so I opted to make a sympathy card, which although I hate having to make, are helpful to have on hand:
The card base is Bravo Burgundy with a layer of Cajun Craze; I did some shadow stamping again (I love this effect) with the images from Pocket Silhouettes, stamping them first in Basic Gray, then again in Bordering Blue on textured Whisper White. I added a little embossed border:
and a layered sentiment, anchored with silver Glimmer brads:

LeAnne this card is darling. I love using those small stamps a number of times. They are perfect for Taylor's sketch. Love the colors too. Shadow stamping - the perfect technique here! You've got the best scrapbook goin with all the little Cassidy pics on your blog. What a cutie she is!
