Monkey Card#62

Those creative girls over at A La Card Monkey have challenged us with a red, white & blue theme and sketch, so I thought I’d participate!  Here’s the sketch….

Monkey62 Red White Blue-001

and here’s my card.  I chose to say “so long” to Define Your Life, pairing it with Have A Seat and the jumbo wheel Friendly Words:

I added a trimmed heart from I {Heart} Hearts, did some distressing, embellishing and embossing, and added a sweet sentiment inside:

Thanks for visiting today!  And look at what we have here:

Whoa!  How did this happen?  She just started crawling!

Wee Details:

  • Stamps:  Define Your Life, Have A Seat, Tiny Tags, God’s Blessings, I {Heart} Hearts, Friendly Words wheel
  • Paper:  Naturals White, Riding Hood Red, Night of Navy, Night of Navy Patterns DP
  • Ink:  Night of Navy, Riding Hood Red, Sahara Sand

Oh So nice. I love how you layer your embellishments. You always come up with the perfect pieces to go with your stamped images and colors! Little cassidy is on the move now... Hope you'll still get to make cards!

Cassidy gives me a preview of what the next half-year will be like. My grandson, Ashton, is 6 months old, and I keep forgetting that he's going to get mobile :-)
I love how you used the 'memories' stamp. Makes me want to get the set.
