CFC6 Tic Tac Toe

DSCF8034-1

I really shouldn’t be stamping today—I have tons of stuff to do, but when I saw the CAS-ual Fridays challenge, it intrigued me.  It’s a tic-tac-toe challenge—you choose any three elements from the grid in a tic-tac-toe line to put on your creation:

CFC6-2

I am going through a lot of my stash to have a stampy yard sale, and came across this pretty silhouette stamp (no, it’s not going in the yard sale) so I stamped it on some Porcelain paper and added chipboard, ribbon and a button.  I have TONS of chipboard that I never use—I am severely chipboard-challenged—so before I do put it in the yard sale, I thought I would “encourage” myself to use some of it:

I wish the image, which is stamped in Early Espresso, would have come out darker, but I guess it adds to the dreamy, imaginative feel of the card.  I overstamped everything with Linen to give it a fabric-y touch;  I painted the chipboard “i” with some craft paint, then highlighted it with some reinkers, very softly with a paintbrush.  I also painted an orange button so that it wouldn’t seem so bright:

Some twine embellishments tied it all together.  Any questions???  Give me a shout!

Here are my morning peaches!!!  Thanks for visiting today!

Gotta get back here more often. I get so busy I forget to just browse and enjoy. Had a blast sipping my morning coffee and enjoying your posts. What a cutie...how fun to put the personal family touch to your posts. Love that!

Blessings on your day! So good to be here again.

OK - me too - what's Porcelain paper? The linen stamp was just perfect. Such a soft misty look. Give your daughter a hug for sharing Cassidy with us. It's no wonder Cassidy is a cutie - just look at her mom - and her GM - the women in your family are beautiful inside and out. Hugs to you all.
