Another Cat

DSCF4066

Happy Monday!  I spent most of the weekend with friends and family so did not stamp much!  I did have a chance to do a little this morning, but I am afraid you’re going to get tired of this little kitten from the Touch of Kindness set (new summer mini), but she is just so cute, I can’t help myself.  I needed a special thank-you for a special someone, so I pulled out some bright DPs and made a real simple card with my little watercolored kitty:

I just did some loose watercoloring with reinkers and my aquapainter:

And so you don’t think this is the only stamp set on my desk, here’s a REAL easy one using The Open Sea set, again from the new summer mini:

I forgot to write down whose blog had the idea for this great frame; hopefully someone will step forward and claim it.   I’ll be sharing the directions for this later in the week!  Or you can email me if you can’t wait, or if you need any other questions answered!  And remember, I have a link to all the Stampin’Up! catalogs on my sidebar!  Have a great day!

Leanne, I could never tire of your cats - I am not a cat person but so many of my friends are, I need inspiration to use the stamps I bought thinking of those cat lovers! :) LOVE the different dsps too!~

AWESOME cards! I LOVE how you designed the first one so that the embellishments matched the colored DP!! Love the look of that! Lovin' how you did the twine on the anchor card, too. Very cool!

Awesome cards LeAnne!! Both are exceptional and sooo striking! I actually managed to wait til the first to order from the Summer Mini, so I'd be able to get the hostess gift from it. I almost NEVER manage to wait, lol!!!

But now I'm still waiting while people like you flaunt your gorgeous, new goodies, lol!!!!

Keep on using that cute kitty! i won't tire of her at all! Love how you used the happy colors with the image. That stamp reminds me of my fat feline, Benjamin Maxwell! LOL! I didn't want to purchase that Opn Sea set, but I think it is necessary! Awesome card! :)

LeAnne, I hadn't thought to use The Open Sea on this frame. It works so well. I've been looking for another reason to use it...I think I might just have to CASE this one. Love the use of the brads and the twine against the background paper. Works fabulously.

The little kittie... every time I see a card you have made with this set I think I should go buy it!!!!
