Blame it on the Wind

…..that my mojo has been blown away.  Not in an awesome, creative, way…..no, in the “it isn’t here, it’s gone” blown away, way.  It is so windy (and cold) here in Pennsylvania, I feel like running around screaming, “Auntie Em, Auntie Em!”  I just could not get into stamping today, and my card shows it.  Oh well, here it is:

Sometimes, I fall in love with DP, like this awesome Graphics 45 Letters to Santa paper.  I love all these little postcard images.  Vintage heaven!   Sometimes, however,  it is a challenge to translate it well into a card.  It’s a busy print, so I just added a sentiment at the top with a glittery snowflake & some greenery….so lame, so lazy, so dull.  Oh well.  The inside has a little bit of stickery bling:

Add to the fact that this Real Red paper looks orangey red here on my screen, and I become even more frustrated.  Well, another to add to my stash and I’ll call it a day for Christmas cards!  Hope all you moms out there had a nice day…..DD came over for lunch with a nice big selection of flowers to be planted in my planters and hanging baskets.  Now if the wind would stop long enough so that I could actually plant them……maybe tomorrow!  Blessings on your day and thanks for visiting!

Well, I think you are doing great if you can make a Christmas card now. The idea of that makes me want to run screaming. I am so in spring mode. Any ways, your card is super nice. I love the paper.

There is nothing at all lazy or dull about using supplies wisely! It's a great vintage card!

It's a great card!!! I think you did just right keeping the embellies to a minimum--I love it when the paper does all the work for me :)

I love it when the DP does all the work, and this collage of tiny images is really cool! It's a great Christmas card, and I'm glad you enjoyed your Mother's Day in spite of the wicked winds!
