Diva Coffee Break Designs Challenge #156

Today the Divas have a color challenge for you...and it WAS a challenge!  That Basic Gray really threw me off, but I pulled out a set I had not used for a while and here's what I came up with:

This is a quick, easy one-layer card.....I think sometimes we forget that we can make simple cards, they don't ALL have to be complicated!  My little gray elephant from Animal Stories has just lost one of his balloons, but he still has a big bunch with which to wish someone a Happy Birthday!  The sentiment is from Happy Everything, and the balloon is from Sock Monkey.  I paper pieced the balloons with DP from Thoroughly Modern and Razzleberry Lemonade.

So be sure to check out what the other Divas have created with this color combo on the DIVA blog, and play along too!  There is a Mr Linky there for you to post your creation, and you might just be chosen as our Featured Stamper!  Give it a whirl!

I love the paper piecing on this! I need to play around with that more - it really makes things extra special. ~chris

How stinkin' cute is that? Love those colors and hey, if you have to use grey, and elephant is the way to go!

Love this, LeAnne!!!! I love how you combined stamps from different stamp sets! Fabulous!!! The "lost" balloon really makes the card!

Thanx so much for my gorgeous bday card, too! You're a sweetie for remembering!! xoxo
