Happy Thursday, peeps! I haven’t played with the Mojo Monday sketch for a while, so I used it for a little thank you note I needed:
I used some MME papers from the Honey Cake line, and an image from Crafty Secrets’ For the Birds:
And a sentiment on the inside from SU’s new set, Something to Say:
…all stamped in Tangerine Tango!
John found this awesome wooden art center on the street, being thrown out…can you believe it? It has pull-out drawers with pastel crayons and an easel, and Cassidy loved it!
She drew an ocean, and I helped her draw some fish and a shark, onto which she added teeth:
Getting into the details!
Enjoy your day!
Happy Wednesday, peeps! Today I have a little thank-you notecard for you! It’s for three challenges! The Kraft Journal has “Water, Water, Everywhere”; Shopping our Stash wants “critters”, and the Technostamper sketch looks like this:
I pulled out last year’s Oh Whale set and matching die to make my watery notecard! I used some new papers from the Moonlight DP stack and Lost Lagoon to stamp my little whale:
I stamped the heart from Kind & Cozy a couple of times in Strawberry Slush and used different punches to punch out my spout of hearts!
Thanks for visiting!
Cassidy is lining up her people again! She was probably making an audience so she could entertain them with Let it Go from Frozen…she really likes that song!
Hi everyone! It’s Monday, and that means it’s time to make Christmas cards for Merry Monday! Here’s our beautiful challenge from Karen for this week:
I went clean and simple for my card today, using a wreath image from Papertrey’s Wreath for All Seasons, stamped and embossed in white:
To mimic the pretty ornaments from the inspiration photo, I colored some pearls with Copic markers and added them to the wreath:
I added some retired Certainly Celery ribbon and a sentiment from Amy R Stamps called Handy Christmas Greetings, stamped in Strawberry Slush. The image was stamped on Soft Sky and matted with Coastal Cabana and adhered to a stitched mat from Lil’Inkers.
I hope you will play along with us using this fabulous photo as your inspiration…it’s so nice to get a head start on all those Christmas cards so you can relax a bit come December! And be sure to check out all the wonderful samples from the other designers as well!
Miss Movie Star (wearing Mommy’s glasses)!!!
Happy Sunday, peeps! Sandy is our Paper Players hostess today and she has a great theme challenge for us:
This theme could be for weddings or for anniversaries…..I just happened to need a wedding card for my niece’s upcoming nuptials! Sandy’s challenge gave me a chance to use a sentiment from the retired Word Play…this sentiment had never even been inked up! Here ya go:
Paige’s colors are gold and pink, so I heat embossed the sentiment in Gold Glory embossing powder:
and stamped the leaves from Papillion Potpourri in Encore Gold ink on some MME papers.
I adhered the layers to a Confetti White card base; some pleated ribbon in Blushing Bride completed the look. I used Mary Jo’s Technostamper sketch 316 from this week as well:
As you know, this is probably my favorite go-to sketch, so I had to play along! Now, what wedding-themed creation will you share with us this week? Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Check out the beautiful samples the design team has created…they will knock your socks off!
Cassidy was spending some time “writing” with her baby dolls:
