PP686 CAS From Jaydee

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Jaydee is our Paper Players hostess this week with a sweet clean-and-simple challenge:

There is a cute heart-shaped tulip image in the Hooray for Surprises set, so I chose to use that for my simple image.  Here we go:

I used the sketch from In(k)spire Me as well as the colors from Just Us Girls:

I heat embossed the image in white on Pale Papaya, then added a little Peach Pie ink to each of the flowers, then diecut it out along with another plain heart to layer behind it.  (I forgot to order the new In Color cardstocks!!)  I added a sentiment from Unbounded Love and tucked it behind the hearts, embellishing them both with some Iridescent gems:

The vertical panel was embossing with a polka dot embossing folder, then layered with Soft Sky and Pale Papaya mats.  Because this is a clean-and-simple challenge, I left the background of the card base plain!

I hope you'll play along with our challenge this week! Remember to keep it clean and simple! This card is probably a little more detailed than I usually do for CAS, but it does have a lot of white space, so I think it still qualifies! Check out what the DT created over at the Paper Players blog, and we hope to see you there too!

LeAnne, I love this soft and subtle color combo. The polka dot embossing adds so much texture but doesn't detract from your focal image. Fabulous card, my friend
