FMS226 and Curtain Call Thanks

Hi everyone!  Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!  I seem to be needing a lot of thank you cards's another one using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch from Rita as well as the yummy Key Lime palette from Curtain Call:

I've been hoarding these lovely Graphic 45 papers from the Botanical Tea 6x6 pad, so I decided to put them to use:

I think this sketch is perfect since it allows that beautiful botanical paper to take center stage!  I pulled out an old SU set called Best Friends Forever and second-generation stamped it on some Very Vanilla in Wild Wasabi, then stamped the "thanks" in full-strength WW on top, using a sentiment from the Watercolor Wishes card kit.  I added a little double-layer butterfly, punched from Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and some vellum that I stamped with white craft ink and layered on a little green chalk:  I love how the glimmer paper gives a little subtle sparkle:

Thanks for popping in today!

Cassidy set up a changing table pn her nightstand for her Baby Alive doll!  First the powder and the diaper:

First layer of clothes:

Hmmm, getting that second skirt over the first one requires some gymnastics:

Finally all, skirt and all!

  1. Cassidy would have loved growing up in the 50's with our crinolin layers! Does she have a poodle skirt for her doll?

  2. Now THAT is a card I love. I just signed up for free Stampin Up classes at the library!! NO MORE GESTAPO DEMONSTRATOR! I'm quitting her class as soon as my order comes in. :)

  3. Gorgeous G45 papers, LeAnne!!! Your card is as yummy as the cupcake! Miss C has done a great job with diapering ... love that she uses real powder!!

  4. Oh, this is so pretty! Wonderful take on the inspiration photo!
    And your daughter is adorable!

  5. These papers are so gorgeous! And you found the perfect way to use them. Lovely!

  6. I love monochromatic cards and this one is shades of green is gorgeous! It's got your signature vintage look too!

  7. Oh what pretty papers, I can see why you've been hearing them! This is beautiful LeAnne!

  8. You did a great card today using those lovely greens papers and CS. You know me...I love florals, and you knocked this one out of the park. Cassidy sure is showing her maternal instinct with her loving care of her dolls. She is such a cutie. Hugs and blessings...

  9. Absolutely gorgeous LeAnne! Monochromatic cards are right up my alley! I love how you've paired these challenges. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
