RS164 & JAI261

DSCF9873
Happy Wednesday, peeps!  I have a card for two beautiful challenges today:  the sketch from Retrosketches and gorgeous photo inspiration from Just Add Ink:

And here’s my card:
LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings French Foliage Feathers Stampin Up
I used a Sahara Sand card base and Sahara Sand and Lost Lagoon inks for my creation; I used the retired French Foliage for the leaves and speckles stamped on the Very Vanilla panel, and I made stencils with the Feathers Framelits dies and sponged in my feathers.  I don’t have the Four Feathers stamp set, so I just drew in some lines with my Island Indigo marker!  I added some light blue sequins too:

and for the embellishments on the left, some larger sequins adorned with taupe pearls:

My banner sentiment is from Petite Pairs, and I added some Lost Lagoon ribbon trim!  Hope you like it!
Cassidy and Dana went to the Baltimore Zoo last weekend, so I’ll have some interesting photos to show you over the next few days!  Obviously, Cassidy is riding a camel here!  What a cool experience!  I hope she remembers it when she gets older!

Leanne, your feathers are amazing! Until I read the words, I just thought you'd stamped them with a feathers stamp. Such an amazing card, I love it.

Oh, LeAnne, this is BEAUTIFUL! I love your collage stamping - especially the way you've used the feather die cut as a stencil. Beautiful use of colour, and awesome layout! Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week.

Oh my, what a beautiful, soft combo of colours. Such a pretty card LeAnne. I love the pearls in the sequin centers and the ribbon wrapped around the sentiment banner.......wonderful touches.
Such a fun experience for Cassidy to ride a camel. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures to come too.

This is a fantastic card, I love all the beautiful colours (blue is my favourite colour) and the leaves and feathers. I struggles with Retro Sketch this week but you have made it look easy, well done. Wow brave to get on a camel, think I would be too scared of those big teeth lol
