Happy Friday, peeps!  The end of a loooong week for me!  I haven’t felt too crafty, even with new stamps in the house, but I did force myself to break open a couple new things just so I could show you some of the goodies in the upcoming catalog!  I am using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch:

I guess my proportions are a little off, I hope they don’t kick me out, LOL!  I used some new DSP:  Cherry on Top; a new Ronald McDonald House stamp set, Sprinkles of Life; and some new In Colors ink, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon.  Here we go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Sprinkles of Life Stampin Up

Who wouldn’t love an ice cream cone and sprinkles for their birthday?!  I did a little shading on the cone, added some glitter on the ice cream, and my sentiment was diecut with the Itty Bitty Banners die:

I also added a vellum-centered scalloped circle in Island Indigo, just for fun and I stamped the birthday sentiment repeatedly on the Soft Sky panel

A fun sketch, fun papers and a fun set!

It was a glorious day weather-wise yesterday, perfect for drying sheets on the line and three wee ones running in them:

Enjoy your day!

  1. Ah, the simple pleasures of summer. I love these pictures of the fun they are having. The ice cream cone just sets off the summer theme and makes me hungry.

  2. OMG! This is SUPER fun and creative LeAnne! A real bright and cheery card for the upcoming summer and ice cream months! Crystal

  3. Cute card.
The little ones look like they are having fun.

  5. Oh, this is yummy! I might just have to CASE it soon!

  6. LOL! There is virtually no chance that you will be kicked out! And what a yummy card!

  10. Oh my what fun to run through the fresh smelling laundry hanging on the line. I'm jealous that you can even hang your laundry out.
What wonderful the balloon paper and the colours. I love the ice cream cone. I'm so glad you "forced" yourself to break out some new items and create with them.
