Happy Saturday, peeps, happy November! The Halloween decorations come down and the Thanksgiving ones go up! Meanwhile, I'm cranking out Christmas cards, although I am sure I'll be doing some turkey day ones sometime this month!
Linda had a very interesting sketch this week at FMS, and I paired it with the color palette at Hand Stamped Sentiments:
So here we go:
I started with a Pool Party card base, then added a layer of Secret Sea that I embossed with a starry embossing folder. There was a challenge somewhere that wanted stars but for the life of me, I couldn't find it! Anyway, I diecut three trees from white glimmer paper and mounted them on my snowy hills and added a wee tiny sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler and backed with some Cherry Cobbler glimmer paper. The final addition were some sweet little Cherry Cobbler cardinals:
I added a simple sentiment on the inside and another Christmas card is added to my stash! Thanks so much for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

This is beautiful, LeAnne! Love the diecut trees against the Secret Sea cardstock! And the cardinals are a lovely touch. Yep, today Halloween gets put away and the Thanksgiving decorations come out. This holiday will be short lived as the Christmas decorations come out on November 27th! Tis the season!
such a sweet card LeAnne ~ I love that sparkling trees and the embossed Secret Sea!!! I'll be decorating this week for Christmas ~ I love the long season of Christmas Decor!!!
I like what you did with the sketch and those colors are great. Such a sweet touch with those cardinals...that we do not have here where I live!
Beautiful wintry scene! I am going to start cutting my glimmer paper now for trees! Great idea!
Very pretty LeAnne! I like those wonderful sparkly trees!
The star challenge is at Inkspirational : ) I combined it with this sketch too. Love your cardinals and the glittery trees!
I put up all my fall *and* Halloween decorations at the beginning of September, so I just need to take down the Halloween ones and I can leave up everything else :) I think I decorate more for fall and Halloween than I do Christmas if you don't count the Christmas tree, ha!
Looks like I missed a lot of fun cards, but I'll make my rounds now that I'm back home!
Linda is just as fun as her Sketch is, LeAnne! and I LOve it when these darling Cardinals come out - another gorgeous Christmas card with the perfect amount of glittery gorgeousness!
