RRCB252 HB Sketch

Happy Thursday, peeps!  You know how sometimes an idea is in your head but in reality, it just doesn't quite come out the way you planned?  This is one of those cards, LOL!  But I am just going to go with it!  It uses the sketch from Retro Rubber and some older stamps from Artistic Outpost; I have probably had them since 2016.  Here's the sketch:

I already had a Mint Macaron card base sitting on my desk and I found some papers to match and here's what I came up with:

I stamped the scene in Garden Green, but the diagonal panel at the top is what had me stumped.  I didn't want to really cover up any part of the stamped image, so I embossed a piece of vellum with the Timber EF and added the "HB" for happy birthday in the corner:

Since this is for my brother-in-law, I am not adding any embellishments!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Lord, who may enter your Temple?  Who may worship on Zion, your sacred hill? Those who obey God in everything and always do what is right, whose words are true and sincere, and do not slander others.  They do no wrong to their friends nor spread rumors about their neighbors.  Psalm 15:1-3

LeAnne, this is very cool - love the green! Now, if it were for one of MY brothers, I'd have worked out a way to add a tornado where you've added that vellum! lol
Such a wonderful plaid - and sister!

Love your masculine card LeAnne. Very creative to use the vellum for that top diagonal layer.

This is awesome LeAnne, I love the vellum at the top and the monochrome, but using green, fantastic masculine card. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber this time. Claire RR DT
