PP733 Color Challenge from Stef

Happy Sunday, peeps! Wow, I haven't posted in several days--it was just one of those weeks, you know?  The creative Stef is our Paper Players hostess this week with a cute color palette for us:

Initially I thought "Easter" for these colors, but I already had all my Easter cards finished!  I recently got a little freebie die in my Simon Says Stamp order and it was still laying on my desk, so I thought I'd put it to use! I pulled out some Highland Heather DSP, some Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party cardstocks and went to work:

I used an Adhesive sheet behind the outline portion of the die to make it easier to stick down, then just filled in the balloon with the cardstocks in the challenge colors.

I did add a Basic Black mat beneath my scalloped panel, added a black and white gingham bow and a little black and white sentiment from Label Me Bold:

Best Year provided the inside sentiment, stamped in Granny Apple Green:

I hope you'll play along with our fun colors this week!  You can still go Easter, or baby, or floral, or anything! Just be sure to share it with us over at the Paper Players blog!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

LeAnne, I love the black mat behind the scalloped area. It really makes all the colors really pop. Fabulous use of the free die, too. Adding different colored inserts to the outline was a great way to incorporate the colors. Love it!
