PP397 A Little Hello

Hello, everyone!  Nance is our Paper Players hostess today with an intriguing color combination!  Check it out:

I admit, it threw me for a loop at first, but I just received this beautiful set, Serene Garden, and I thought it would look pretty embossed in white on Crumb Cake:

I used my Stamparatus to get everything lined up nicely and was able to stamp it a few times with white Craft Ink so I had good coverage!  What a handy tool!  I embossed the images with white embossing powder and heat set them, then colored them in with Blends and markers!  The butterfly and flower were stamped on scrap pieces and diecut, then popped up; they are just beautiful!

To add more of a touch of Lemon Lime Twist, I took some retired Pear Pizzazz ribbon and ran it across my Lemon Lime Twist ink pad, then dried it briefly in the microwave!  I cut a slit under the leaf and ran the ribbon under it:

I added a layer of Whisper White and adhered it to a Calypso Coral card!  My final addition was the little sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings down in the lower right corner!  Another fabulous set! Thanks, Nance, for an awesome color challenge!  Be sure to check out what the other Players did with these colors at the Paper Players blog!!  Share your creation too!

Speaking of Calypso Coral, Cassidy earned her first stripe in karate....can you see it on her belt?  It's a lovely orange color!!  She was quite proud!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Right now it appears like Drupal is the top blogging platform available right now.
(from what I've read) Is that what you're using
on your blog?

Congrats to Cassidy on her first stripe! She looks adorable in her outfit and I bet she is loving this new fun sport! Love your pretty card today, LeAnne! Great colors and thank you for sharing that you used the Stamparatus on it. I was on the fence on ordering it and think I am going to take the plunge! I use my StampAMajig all the time and this new thing looks so easy! TFS and enjoy your day! :)

Congratulations, Cassidy! If you recall, my great-grandson always had to look at your postings of Cassidy when he was living with us. He thought (and still does) that she was special to him. He is now 8-1/2 and living with his mom but is with us frequently. I save your posts and he still likes to see what she is up to. He, too, is a karate student and has his red belt. He will teat for his brown belt in August and then the next step will be black. We are so happy that he chose karate as it has been very good for him. He is kind and caring, does well in school and is a responsible youngster. I attribute some of those traits to karate and what they stress. Keep up the good work, Cassidy. Marilyn W.

Oh this is beautiful, LeAnne! I can’t wait to order this stamp set and it is gorgeous in these colors. Especially the way you’ve featured Crumb Cake and colored the other images. It really adds a depth to the colors. Genius way to color and tuck the ribbon under the leaf. Fabulous! Congrats to our Calypso Coral ninja!
