Happy Saturday, peeps! Boy, is it hot today! We went yard-saling this morning and it was just overwhelmingly unbearable! So back inside to work on my craft room...or not! Anyway, I made this card for a couple in our church who just announced the birth of a new grandson! Yippee, I always love to make baby cards! I started with the Cas(e) This Sketch sketch for this week:
And here we go:
This retired stamp set, Every Little Bit, has lots of fun little images that are quick to stamp and easy to color in! I stamped the images in Memento Black ink and used various SU Blends to color them in, then diecut them with the Stitched Shapes Framelits:
The sentiment is from another retired set, Nursery Necessities, and it and the other banner (Lawn Fawn plaid paper) was cut with a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Labels die. Everything was adhered to a thick white card, and since the banner stuck out a little, I created a custom envelope with my Envelope Punch Board!
So happy you popped in today...be SURE to come back tomorrow, as the Paper Players have an awesome challenge for all you lucky stampers! Be blessed and enjoy your day!
Cassidy's first "sparring" time...she is on the left. She's not quite advanced enough yet to really know how to do this, but Master Fisher put her in with the other students in the class!!! Yikes, that looks scary to me!

Super adorable! Love all the crisp white space showing on your card and the coloring of your sweet little animals! All the stitching really makes your card pop, LeAnne! Love everything about this! Congrats to the family with the new little addition! TFS and stay indoors today enjoy that AC! Crazy hot weather!
Well it should not have been so hot since you were on the water doing your yard-sailing! I couldn't resist. LOL
This baby card is so precious. Some of those old sets never get old do they.
So sorry about that. I read it as yard sailing. Too funny!
Very cute and it's always exciting when a baby arrives! Question...I noticed Cassidy has nothing on her feet or hands but the other person does. Why is that? I know nothing of what she is doing :-)
What a darling idea for a baby card, LeAnne! Into my CASE file it goes! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh, this is so adorable! Super sweet take on the sketch!
This sketch worked great for your baby card LeAnne - what adorable images!
This is perfectly sweet CAS cuteness!! This photo of Cassidy reminds me of our son's first freshman football game. He was lined up across from a kid that was HUGE...like pro football HUGE!! My mom and I looked at each other with wide eyes. The ball was hiked and WHAM, Joe was flattened before he knew what hit him! Poor kid, he was fine, but what a way to begin high school football!
Sweetest card ever!
