SSC136 Pretty Pines

Happy Monday, peeps!  I have a quick post today...a family funeral to attend, sadly.  I thought the Sunday Stamps sketch was interesting this week:

And I apologize to Annette on their design team...it wasn't until AFTER I finished my card that I realized mine was so similar to hers!  Great minds think alike, I guess!  Anyway, here we go:

I used This Christmas Specialty DSP; silver foil for my pinecone; Mint Macaron for the pine boughs; Cherry Cobbler for the sprig; and Rose Red for the bow.  All dies are from Pretty Pines.  When I made this card I liked the lighter colored pines but after seeing it here, I am thinking I should have used Garden Green.  What do you think?  I may try this one again!  The sentiments inside and out are from Christmas Pines, stamped in Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Mint Macaron:

I like the font they used here!

No Cassidy pictures today, but a couple more from Scotland; this was climbing up Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye...quite a hike for these old legs; my sister really pushed me on this one!  If you can see tiny little white dots up high along the mountainside, those are SHEEP.

Close up, this is what they look like!

And on one of our travels, we came across this sign...a little Scottish humor!

 Enjoy your day!

You've just given me the most wonderful gift, LeAnne... a gorgeous way to use some of those beloved patterned papers! LOve this card, and now that I've updated my email, I see I have missed out on your lovely trip - I'll be reading backwards... maybe that's how those sheep could manage reading!! Wonderful photos!

Beautiful Christmas card, LeAnne! I was so trying to resist the Christmas Pines Bundle but I think your card may have pushed me over the edge! Just love how beautiful this card is and that silver pinecone! I think I will be adding this to my next order! TFS and loved seeing your pics from Scotland. The hike you did looked like fun and seeing those sheep along the way would be neat! Did they bother you on your walk?
